how to connect speaker to jinhoo projector

 

I need help with my speakers. It is supposed to be connected to a jinhoo projector, but I am having difficulties. Any advice?

Is the cable type RCA or IEC?

It could be either one. Is there any other way you can find out which one it is without connecting it to the projector right now?

The cable might have at least 1 yellow and 2 red RCA connectors on each end if it is an RCA cable or 3 male power connectors if its an IEC cable.

What is the model number of your jinhoo acoustics projector?

I do not know, but it looks like a low cost projector. Please help!

It is best to connect speakers directly to the projector as then you will know if the sound is working or not. If you can, check with your local electronics store for advice on connecting a set of speakers to a projector.

If it is an RCA cable, then its single channel left/right channel speakers that are 3 or 4 inches from the screen. An IEC cable means its dual channel left/right channels with 2 inches from the screen. Both cables have three red and two yellow RCA connectors on each end...click here for details about them...

I do not wish to buy any other cables for now. It has taken me several days to figure out which connectors to connect them to. Please help!

The connection may be confusing but if you recall, red and yellow are complementary colors and they are also used in RCA cables and connectors...

I am told that the red connector is for power and the yellow is for video.

I am told that this jinhoo projector does not give you sound though it shows on the screen.​

The best option seems to be to connect it directly to the screen...​

I think the cable you need to connect your speakers is RCA, which is a red and white cable.

I'm not sure what the projector really is, but I know that this one has built in speakers.
